If you test drive one of those beautiful little Jeep Renegades and the salesman lets you go it alone there is one thing you absolutely have to do. Floor the gas? No. Look for the interesting Easter eggs? Nope. Ogle at the fact that Jeep made a nice small sic this time around? Partially but nopers. I want you to turn the satellite radio to a station called BPM and I want you to crank that stereo all the way to 38. You will thank me for this.

Disclaimer: I am a 22 year old male with an affinity for loud music and bass. I've also fallen in love with this car.

I'm assuming it sounds amazing. Unfortunately BPM in the Hyundai Sonata sounds absolutely atrocious :(

That sucks. The Renegade I was driving had the nice stereo setup with a nice little subwoofer. Surprisingly nice for stock.

Yeah, I live on Norway. But it seems we'll have them here as well. Closest retailer is an hour and a half away though, but it's close to the Swedish border so I'll make a trip out of it and go buy some cheap beer and stuff.

I think this is Jeeps first large attempt at making a world car, hence why it is based off of a Fiat.

Some are saying there are already reliability issues but we'll see how bad it gets. Plus I work less than five minutes from a dealership so they can fix problems while I'm at work if I get one.

People say that about every car ever made man. In the US people complain about VW and Audi (I've owned several of each brand and never had a problem). In Europe we complain about American cars (never owned one myself, but driven a few). The only cars that I can confirm DO have reliability issues are French and Italian cars from mid eighties (yeah, have had some of those as well).

One thing that Chrysler Group does well is stock sound systems. Whether it be a Grand Caravan or a Grand Cherokee, it will have lots of bass.

I think that's almost every car in the eighties anywhere really. But I've learned to ignored people complaining about cars. It may go against logic but I will buy what I like and nobody is going to change my opinion.

Yeah the Compass/Patriot have those flip down speakers in the lift hate. Pretty neat feature to have.

They have a very short list of upsides. Cheap, good sound system and good fuel mileage.
